Haynes alto flutes were the
gold standard of alto flutes for decades. Their warm tone is unmatched by any
modern alto. Our truly handmade headjoint plays with a robust sound, strong low
C, full 3-octave range. The winged lipplate is very comfortable to play and
very rare. It offers the player an added level of security not found on the
non-winged versions. Opportunities to acquire a single Haynes alto flute
headjoint are exceedingly rare. This is a unique chance to experience a legend.
