Haynes #39288 is an
exceptionally light B-foot silver flute. Made with tubing measuring approximately
.011" to .012", it weighs less than many C-foot flutes. The
embouchure hole is also very well cut with a smaller front-to-back dimension
than other headjoints of the era. This combination results in a brilliant
singing voice that is truly captivating. The flute is in excellent condition,
the pads look brand new and are covering well. The mechanism is tight, offering
a fast and responsive action. It comes in the original case in good condition.
Maker’s mark and serial number on body only. Monogram on headjoint.
