#3363, made in 1916. Solid silver, Regular Model, Y-arms, drawn tone holes
without roll, no ribs, open hole, offset G, C# trill, Bb shake, .018+” body, .016"
headjoint with guard ring, forged keys and touches, adjustment screws, gold
springs, pinned C-foot, felt pads, traditional scale.
Haynes #3363 is not in
playable condition because of moth eaten pads. There is no rust, all the keys
go up and down and the screws turn. It was a well-love flute for many years. A
proper overhaul will make this flute sing again. It comes in a student case in
poor condition.
Maker’s mark and serial number on body only.
The embouchure hole measures 10.3 x 12.2 mm.
Sounding length is 601 mm.
Headjoint length is 9”.
The flute weighs 470 grams.
