#20048 made in 1949. Solid silver, Handmade Model, soldered tone holes, plateau cups, pointed arms, .014”, #7 headjoint taper, no adjustment screws, offset G, C-foot, Bb shake, forged
keys and touches, gold springs, felt pads, two tenon
protectors, traditional scale.
Haynes #20048 is offered at a
greatly reduced price due to tarnish caused by the new case. Aside from the
cosmetic tarnish, the flute is in excellent condition, no dents, pads are
sealing well and ready to play. It delivers a good sound and response. The case
is a newer replacement and should be replaced to prevent further tarnishing.
Maker’s mark and serial number on body only. Monogram on headjoint.
The embouchure hole measures 10.5 x 12.4 mm.
Sounding length is 600 mm.
Headjoint length is 9”.
The flute weighs 398 grams.
