Haynes gold flutes are widely
regarded as the holy grail of gold flutes. In the 1930s, crafting instruments
from gold was an extraordinarily costly and highly specialized endeavor,
reserved for the most discerning musicians. Owning a gold flute in that era was
a far more exclusive luxury than it is today. These instruments are
exceptionally rare and historically significant.
Haynes #12025 is in excellent
condition and ready to play. Its sound possesses a character distinctly
different from its silver counterparts. Articulation is crisp and effortless,
wide interval slurs connect with remarkable smoothness. The tone is rich,
resonant, and expressive, every bit as captivating as the instrument’s stunning
appearance. It comes in a French case in good condition.
Local trial welcome.
